The house has been an historic museum for five decades, and tours will continue to run multiple times daily. Outdoor audio tours touching on the history of the Hudson Valley will also continue with each paid admission.
On top of the tours, the house will host events right up until the end of the season in December, including favorites like the Boscobel Style Lecture Series, Turtle Walk, Yoga with a View, the Big Band Concert & Sunset Picnic, Family Bonfire Night and Ghost Tours.
New events planned for the season include a tasting with a historical twist and a concert of chamber music from the 1800s.
“We look forward to an active and fun season at Boscobel as we welcome visitors from around the corner and around the globe. Our enhanced and expanded family-friendly programs often sell out quickly, so we encourage advance ticket purchases at our website,” executive director Steven Miller says.
Boscobel House & Gardens is on Route 9D in Garrison, a mile south of Cold Spring and directly across the river from West Point.
Hours from now until November are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The first tour of the day is at 10 a.m. and the last is at 4 p.m.
