The organization, which supports the Kent Public Library, has scheduled the sale for Friday, Sept. 4 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., with an early bird session from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. that carries $10 admission.
The book sale is scheduled to continue on Saturday, Sept. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The sale is in its third year and will be held in the "Book Cellar" space of the library, according to the group.
"Almost 5,000 gently used books will be for sale at bargain prices," the group's announcement states. "These newly donated books have been carefully sorted through, and only the best will be offered for sale at this location."
