Cop Hospitalized After Long Island Man Becomes Combative During Traffic Stop, Police Say A police officer was hospitalized after a Long Island motorist allegedly became combative after being stopped near an intersection. Officers conducted the traffic stop of a 2012 Dodge Challenger in Valley Stream in the vicinity of Hook Creek Boulevard and 136th Avenue at around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2. The Glen Cove incident occurred just after 1 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21.
