Pedestrian Struck, Critically Injured On Sunrise Highway: Suffolk Police A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by an SUV on Sunrise Highway in Copiague, Suffolk County police announced on Sunday, Feb. 23. Maryam Noor, 22, of Bellmore, was driving a 2023 Cadillac XT6 westbound near Bayview Avenue when she hit a man standing in the left lane at approximately 8:10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, detectives said. Know Him? Man Wanted For Burglarizing 2 Long Island Businesses Police on Long Island are asking the public for help identifying a man who burglarized two businesses last month. The incidents occurred in Lindenhurst on Thursday, May 2, at the Paris 1 Nail Salon and Vicky’s Casa del Sabor on Wellwood Avenue.
