A 29-year-old man formally confessed to causing an impaired, high-speed crash on the Southern State Parkway that claimed three lives. Authorities are asking for help in locating a missing vulnerable adult from Long Island. Brenda Simmons, 76, was last seen on Fulton Street in the village of Farmingdale at around 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, according to Nassau County Police.
