An 18-year-old soldier was killed during firearms training when the shooter conducting the exercise acted in a "grossly negligent manner," and now, more than six months later and only after whose family spent has been begging for answers, he has agreed to plead guilty, federal prosecutors announced.

A drunk Long Island teenager hit a guardrail and flipped his car but escaped without injury, police said.
Marek Alexander Amraly, 19, of Quogue, was traveling westbound on Old Country Road in East Quogue around 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, the Southampton Town Police Department said.
Amraly then left his travel lane near Gleason Drive and collided with a guardrail, which caused the car to overturn, police said. Amraly was not injured, according to investigators.
