More Than 40 Weapons Seized From Long Island Probationer’s Home: Suffolk Police
A probation search of a Long Island home turned up more than 40 weapons, leading to the arrest of a 60-year-old man on a long list of gun charges, Suffolk County Police announced on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025.
Probation officers were conducting a search at 202 E. Granada Ave. when they spotted brass knuckles and an expandable baton at probationer Albert Tusa’s home at about 9:15 a.m., police said.
First Squad detectives were called in, and a further search of the residence uncovered eight handguns, 17 long guns, 16 switchblades, and two high-capacity magazines, according to the release.

A Bergen County man who police accuse of threatening to kill Governor Phil Murphy was arrested in Florida, where authorities say he had a motorcycle, an SUV, and an RV — and a history of social media posts showing weapons.
Russ Semeran, 53, who allegedly has ties to Allendale and Mahwah, was taken into custody on Sunday, May 18, by the U.S. Marshals Task Force, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

Outlaw Biker Sporting ‘1%’ Patch Nabbed On Southern State With Loaded Gun, Nunchucks: PD
A routine early-morning patrol on the Southern State Parkway took a dangerous turn when troopers encountered an armed outlaw biker, police said.
The incident happened around 2:10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, on the westbound side near Exit 18 in West Hempstead, when troopers spotted a disabled motorcycle on the shoulder and stopped to assist.
