2 Dead, 1 Seriously Hurt In Toms River Parkway Crash
Two women were killed and two others injured in a crash involving a tractor-trailer and two vehicles on the Garden State Parkway in Ocean County Saturday night, Oct. 24, New Jersey State Police confirmed.
Caryn J. Coon, 22, of Forked River, and Lauren J. Maturo, 32, of Syosset, NY, died following the crash near milepost 87 in Toms River around 9:42 p.m., NJSP Trooper II Christopher Postorino said.

Off-Duty Cop Kills Pedestrian, 37, In Newark, Prosecutor Says
An off-duty Newark police officer was behind the wheel of a vehicle that struck and killed a 37-year-old pedestrian early Sunday, Oct. 25, authorities said.
Sequndo Reyes Lligun was struck at the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and North 6th Street around 2:06 a.m., Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens II and Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said.
Lligun, whose address was unknown, was taken to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:36 a.m.

A 14-year-old boy is missing after leaving his Hudson Valley home Saturday afternoon, Oct. 24, and New York State Police are asking the public for help finding him.
Cameron Smith was last seen leaving his home on Alpine Drive in the town of Wappinger around 1:43 p.m., police said.
He was wearing a black knit hat, black puffy winter jacket, light blue ripped jeans, and black-and-white sneakers.
Cameron was also carrying a red backpack and a silver Razor scooter.

Ringwood Motorcyclist, 36, Killed In Wayne Crash Involving Van, Jeep
A 36-year-old Ringwood man was killed in a crash involving his motorcycle, a van and a Jeep in Wayne on Friday morning, Oct. 23, authorities said.
The crash happened near Hamburg Turnpike and Black Oak Ridge Road around 7:14 a.m., according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Wayne Police Chief Joseph Rooney.
The motorcyclist collided with two other vehicles, a Ford Transit Sprinter van and a Jeep Wrangler, authorities said.
