90-Year-Old Killed In Jersey City Fire: Prosecutor A 90-year-old woman was killed in a fire in Jersey City Thursday afternoon, Oct. 1, authorities said. At 5:10 p.m., the Jersey City Fire Department responded to a fire at 81 Boyd Ave. and located heavy fire coming from a single-family home, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said. Zenaida Mojica was removed from the residence and pronounced dead soon after, authorities said. Two men and a firefighter sustained non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
