NY Drunk Driver Busted With Toddler In Car On Thanksgiving, Police Say
A Brooklyn man is facing felony charges after he was pulled over on Staten Island while allegedly driving drunk with a 2-year-old child in the car on Thanksgiving Day, police said.
Elijah Page, 34, was stopped on I-278 near Exit 3 on Thursday, Nov. 27, after a trooper spotted a gray Honda sedan speeding and following another vehicle too closely, according to New York State Police.
During the roadside investigation, the trooper determined Page was intoxicated, and a 2-year-old child was found in the backseat, police said. The child was not injured and was released to a family member.

A New York man was pulled over for a busted plate light — and what deputies say they uncovered next was a jaw-dropper.
Jason Stover, 45, of Ballston Spa, was behind the wheel in the village of South Glens Falls just after midnight Monday, April 28, when deputies stopped him for a routine equipment violation, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office.
Stover’s driver’s license had a staggering 26 active suspensions, including 23 for failing to answer summonses — all spread out across 10 different dates, deputies said.

A Valley Stream man is facing a slew of charges after an alleged rampage that began with a home invasion and ended with a car crash, police announced on Sunday, Jan. 26.
Jonathan Louissaint, 32, unlawfully entered a home on Forest Avenue at 9:15 a.m. and assaulted a 24-year-old man, punching him in the face and hitting his hand with a metal bar, detectives said.
