Cash Demand Note Passed During TD Bank Robbery On Long Island
A man robbed a TD Bank in Lake Ronkonkoma on Friday, May 8, Suffolk County Police announced. The robbery happened at the TD Bank located at 474 Portion Road at approximately 5:15 p.m., according to Suffolk County Police. Investigators said the man entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot, police said. A Long Island man was killed while walking through a parking lot Wednesday morning, May 6, police said. Silverio Saldana Trejo, 60, was struck by a 2022 Ford F-150 at a 7-Eleven in Center Moriches, the Suffolk County Police Department said. The Center Moriches resident was pronounced dead at the scene. A Long Island school bus driver who repeatedly raped a girl beginning when she was 12 years old was sentenced Friday, April 24. Miguel Enrique Diaz, 49, got 16 years behind bars after pleading guilty to the nearly year-long pattern of abuse, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said.
