Cash Demand Note Passed During TD Bank Robbery On Long Island
A man robbed a TD Bank in Lake Ronkonkoma on Friday, May 8, Suffolk County Police announced. The robbery happened at the TD Bank located at 474 Portion Road at approximately 5:15 p.m., according to Suffolk County Police. Investigators said the man entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot, police said. A Long Island man was killed while walking through a parking lot Wednesday morning, May 6, police said. Silverio Saldana Trejo, 60, was struck by a 2022 Ford F-150 at a 7-Eleven in Center Moriches, the Suffolk County Police Department said. The Center Moriches resident was pronounced dead at the scene. Miguel Enrique Diaz, 49, got 16 years behind bars after pleading guilty to the nearly year-long pattern of abuse, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said.
