A man claiming to be Lucifer slashed three people with a machete at Grand Central Station before police officers shot and killed him Saturday, April 11, authorities said. At approximately 9:40 a.m., two officers assigned to transit overtime posts were flagged down by a civilian who reported a man armed with a knife had stabbed multiple people on a subway platform, according to NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch.
