Two men were hospitalized after being trapped beneath a conveyor belt that collapsed at a Long Island recycling facility. The incident happened around 10:20 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, at Earth-Tec Recycling, located on Wood Street in Oceanside, according to Nassau County Police. Two men were pulled from the Great South Bay after their sailboat capsized south of East Islip Marina on Sunday, Aug. 17, Suffolk County Police said. The 19-foot sailboat overturned about a mile south of the marina at 5 p.m., according to a release from the department.
