833K Peloton Bikes Recalled After Seat Post Failures Cause Injuries
Hundreds of thousands of Peloton exercise bikes are being recalled after reports of seat posts breaking and detaching during workouts. Peloton issued the recall for about 833,000 Original Series Bike+ machines, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday, Nov. 6. The seat post assembly can break while in use, posing fall and injury hazards. Peloton received three reports of the seat post breaking, including two people who suffered injuries from falls, according to the CPSC.
