A woman was dragged by an SUV during a daytime robbery in a busy parking lot, police announced on Thursday, Feb. 19. The 64-year-old woman was walking in the Port Jefferson Station parking lot of 5125 Nesconset Highway when a man driving a 2001 Chevrolet SUV pulled up, got out, and grabbed her purse at approximately 12:55 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, according to the Suffolk County Police.
