A woman was killed in a head-on crash on Woodside Avenue East in East Patchogue, Suffolk County police announced on Monday, Jan. 12. Rae Deprizio, 77, of Middle Island, was driving a 2014 Kia Optima westbound when her vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a 2012 Jeep Renegade at about 6:10 p.m., according to Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives.
