Chaotic Incident In Hudson Valley Leads To Arrest For Reckless Endangerment An alarming sequence of events unfolded in Orange County, leading to the arrest of an 18-year-old local man after police debunked a reported gunfire incident. The incident occurred in Crawford on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 7 p.m. when  Crawford Police were called to a residence at 554 Drexel Drive following reports of gunfire.  Crawford Police Chief Dominick Blasko said officers initially detained three men who were clearing the contents of the house. Man Takes Cops On 18-Mile High-Speed Chase, Taunting Officers, Hitting Two Cruisers, Police Say A man driving a U-Haul truck was arrested and issued 39 traffic tickets after leading New York State Police on an 18-mile high-speed chase, getting out of his vehicle to taunt officers and striking two police cruisers in the process.  The chase started in Ulster County in Wawarsing and ended in Orange County in Pine Bush on Saturday, Dec. 12. Father, Son Killed In Hudson Valley House Fire A man who pushed his daughter to safety was killed, along with his son, after a house fire broke out overnight in the Hudson Valley. The blaze began around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, July 5 in Ulster County in the Town of Shawangunk on Burnt Meadow Road.   Initial responders discovered a 9-year-old girl outside the home, who had been pushed out a window to safety by her father, later identified as Joseph J.
