Group Stealing Mail Nabbed In Hudson Valley After Fiery Crash: Police A man and a juvenile were nabbed after police responded to a suspicious vehicle call. The occupants allegedly removed items from a mailbox in front of a home. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 12:10 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8, in Tomkins Cove. According to Stony Point Police Lt. Daniel Schoales, responding officers located a vehicle matching the description on Mott Farm Road. Student Approached By Suspicious Van In Hudson Valley Police are investigating after a student was approached by a suspicious van in the region. The incident happened Monday, Sept. 30 in Northern Westchester. Police received a report on Monday night, Sept. 30 of the student being approached by a woman in a blue-gray van in Peekskill.
