An officer with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department allegedly observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on State Route 22 in the Town of Patterson on Saturday, April 20 around 12 a.m. The officer conducted a traffic stop and allegedly observed an alcoholic odor coming from the driver, identified as 38-year-old Carlos Diaz of Waterbury, Connecticut.
