33-Year-Old Woman Murdered At Hamptons Resort Attended College In Hudson Valley
A woman who was found murdered at a posh Long Island resort had connections to the Hudson Valley. Sabina Rosas, age 33, was killed at the posh Shou Sugi Ban House, located in the Hamptons hamlet of Water Mill, on Monday, Oct. 28, according to Suffolk County Police. Brewster Students To Forgo Classes In Symbolic Walk
Students from Brewster High School are on a mission to take real-life action after being inspired by a piece of literature they read in a ninth-grade English class. A total of nine students will take a symbolic six-hour trek around the track on Friday, April 12 in lieu of attending their normally scheduled classes in an effort to raise awareness and money to combat the ongoing water crisis in South Sudan. Sprout Creek Farm Now Owned By Marist College
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY. -- Sprout Creek Farm has transferred its ownership to Marist College. The 200-acre farm, which produces cheese and raises farm animals, will remain an independent non-profit. Sprout Creek said this will help ensure the viability of the farm.
