Wanted Man Nabbed With Loaded Gun After Shots Fired Report A 21-year-old man was nabbed with a defaced loaded gun after police responded to a call of shots fired. The incident happened in Sullivan County when Kristopher D. Frederick, of Blakeslee, Pennsylvania, was arrested on Monday, April 27, and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, said Monticello Police Lt. Mark Johnstone. Frederick was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration, as well as being a fugitive from justice, Johnstone said. Motorist Throws Loaded Firearm Out Of Car Window After Being Stopped, Monticello Police Say An 34-year-old man was arrested for possession of a gun following his arrest for being a fugitive from justice. Members of the Monticello Police, with assistance from the New York State Police, arrested Elgin “Ghost” Cotto, 34, of Champlin, Minnesota, on Wednesday on a warrant in connection with a Feb. 28 traffic stop. During the February incident, Cotto was stopped by Monticello Police for a vehicle and traffic violation on Fulton Street in the Village of Monticello, said Lt. Mark Johnstone.
