Investigation Underway After Elderly Woman Found Dead Near Vanderbilt Mansion In Region
Police are asking the public for help identifying an elderly woman who was found dead by a hiker near the Vanderbilt Mansion historical site in the Hudson Valley. The grim discovery of the woman whose death is considered suspicious was found around 12 p.m. by the hiker on Friday, Dec. 6, on Vanderbilt Park Road in Hyde Park. New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks said the woman was lying face down near the east shore of the Hudson River south of Bard Rock. Human Remains, Car Found In Pond Linked To Couple From Region Missing For Over 40 Years
A vehicle containing a human bone found submerged in an out-of-state pond may be the clue needed to figure out what happened to a Westchester County couple missing for over four decades. In an announcement on Saturday, Nov. 23, the Glynn County Police Department in Georgia revealed that a submerged Lincoln Continental had been found on Friday, Nov. 22 in a pond between the Royal Inn Hotel and Interstate 95 on New Jesup Highway in the town of Brunswick. Decade-Old Mystery Unraveled: Police Identify Remains As Missing Capital Region Woman
After nearly a decade, police in New York have identified human remains found in a wooded preserve as those of Amanda King, who vanished in November 2013. King's remains were found in Rensselaer County in Troy on Sunday, Oct. 20, near Campbell Avenue in the. Burden Pond Preserve, said Troy Police Assistant Chief Steven Barker. Seen Her? 17-Year-Old Girl From Capital Region Has Been Missing 5 Days
Authorities are asking for help in locating a missing teenager from the region. Winona Lewis, age 17, of Albany, was last seen on Thursday, Nov. 14, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Missing Person Found Dead Near Hudson River
A missing person has been found dead in the Hudson Valley . The incident occurred in Rockland County at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 6, in Nyack. According to Orangetown Police Capt. Michael Shannon, the department received a call for help from the Spring Valley Police regarding a missing person spotted in the area. A missing woman who had not been seen in a day was located by a New York State Police drone at the bottom of a Hudson Valley cliff. The incident occurred in Orange County around 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 27, at the Hawk's Nest in Sparrow Bush. The New York State Police in Northern Westchester County are searching for Andy Salazar, age 17, from Four Winds Hospital in the Lewisboro hamlet of Cross River. Missing 28-Year-Old From Region Found Safe
New Update: A 28-year-old Hudson Valley man who went missing after last being seen boarding a train in Northern Westchester has been found safe.
