Alert Issued For 18-Year-Old Man Missing From Region
Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 18-year-old man who was last seen in Westchester. Jasiah Jones was reported missing on Thursday, Aug. 15 after last being seen on Jackson Avenue in Yonkers on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at around 10:20 p.m., according to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services. Jones, who is 5-foot-5 and 150 pounds, is believed to be suicidal and may be in need of medical attention, officials said. He is a Black man with black hair and brown eyes. Police are asking for help in locating a woman from the region who has been missing for several weeks. Schoharie County resident Carlie Mace was officially reported missing on Monday, Aug. 5, weeks after relatives last had contact with her. Sheriff’s officials said her last known location was in Schenectady. Mace is 5-foot-6 and 210 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The body of a missing swimmer who went underwater in a Hudson Valley lake and never resurfaced has been recovered by divers.
