Greene County’s Zoom Flume Water Park, located in East Durham, was the target of investigation by the Albany district office of the US Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division in 2022. Greene County resident Gregory Kurzajczyk, age 76, of East Durham, was found guilty of multiple counts of child pornography possession after a three-day jury trial in Albany federal court Wednesday, Oct. 25. Kurzajczyk was on federal probation for prior child pornography convictions when a routine check of his East Durham home turned up multiple unauthorized computers and devices in February 2022, according to prosecutors.
