Man Hit, Killed In Northampton Shopping Center Parking Lot A 77-year-old man was hit and killed walking through a Western Massachusetts shopping center parking lot this weekend.  The man, whose name was not released, was hit around 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Big Y Plaza on North King Street in Northampton, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said.  The driver remained at the scene.  The cause of the crash is under investigation. No charges have been filed in the case.
