43-Year-Old Struck By Vehicle In Bellport A man was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on Long Island. The crash occurred around 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, in front of 1640 Montauk Highway in Bellport.  A 71-year-old Bellport man was driving a 2010 Toyota RAV4 westbound on Montauk Highway when the vehicle struck a 43-year-old man as he was crossing the road. The man who was hit, a resident of Bellport, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries.  The driver of the RAV4 was uninjured in the incident. 12-Year-Old Airlifted To Hospital Following Long Island Crash Two people were injured, including a young boy riding a bicycle, when a pair of large cars collided. The North Bellmore incident occurred at around 4:40 p.m. on Thursday, June 20. According to Nassau County Police, a 52-year-old man was driving a 2020 Ford Econoline Van northbound on Oakfield Avenue. Near the intersection of S Shelley Road, he collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by a 41-year-old woman heading east.
