Employee Busted For Prostitution At Massage Parlor On Long Island, Police Say An employee at a Long Island massage parlor is accused of engaging in prostitution. Shuangshuang Luo, 56, was arrested following a Suffolk County Police sting at the Twins Twins Spa on Montauk Highway in East Patchogue on Monday, Jan. 27. A search warrant was executed on the business in response to numerous community complaints, police said. Luo, of Ronkonkoma, was charged with prostitution and promoting prostitution, and was issued a desk appearance ticket. The Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal issued multiple summons to the business and deemed the location unsafe for occupancy.

Bicyclist Seriously Injured In Long Island Crash With Pickup Truck: Police A 73-year-old bicyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a pickup truck in East Patchogue, Suffolk County police announced on Saturday, Jan. 18. Gary Green, of Bellport, was riding on Montauk Highway near County Road 101 when a westbound 2013 Ford pickup truck driven by 68-year-old Norman Kurrass, of East Patchogue, hit him at 5:14 p.m., detectives said. Green was rushed to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue for treatment of his injuries. Kurrass was not injured in the crash, according to police. Man Hid Human Remains Found Along Long Island Highway: Police A man has been arrested after police said he concealed human remains that were found along a local highway. Garry Cowell, age 72 of Patchogue, was arrested on Thursday, June 27, according to Suffolk County Police. At approximately 4:30 p.m., police discovered human remains in East Patchogue along Montauk Highway near County Road 101.
