21-Year-Old From Great Neck Accused Of Impersonating Homeland Security Officer In New Hyde Park A Long Island man has been apprehended after authorities say he impersonated an officer. According to Nassau County Police detectives, Seth Newman, age 21, of Great Neck, was driving a black 2021 Dodge Charger in New Hyde Park in the vicinity of Marcus Avenue and New Hyde Park Road at around noontime Sunday, Oct. 27.   He then activated amber flashing lights and a siren and was observed with what appeared to be a black handgun located near his hip, said police.
