Bomb Threat Made To High School In Region Acting on a tip, the FBI and local law enforcement charged a person with allegedly making a bomb threat against a high school in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Sunday, Nov. 17. Dr. Dwight Bonk, superintendent of schools for the Wappinger Central School District, said the threat was made against Orchard View Alternative High School in Wappingers Falls. Bonk said the FBI received a tip about some online activity that led them to a home in the District. Dealer From Region Nabbed Peddling Cocaine Mixed With Fentanyl, Police Say An alleged drug dealer in the region was busted after he was caught selling cocaine mixed with fentanyl in connection with a fatal car crash. Dutchess County resident Joseph M. Kundrat, age 32, of East Fishkill, was charged on Monday, Sept. 30, following an investigation by the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force. According to Task Force agent Det. Sgt. Adam Harris, the task force, initiated an investigation into Kundrat after a request from the East Fishkill Police in connection with a fatal auto crash in which cocaine-laced fentanyl was found.
