Capital Region Teen Nabbed For Rape A 19-year-old Capital Region teen has been charged with the alleged rape of a victim who was "incapable" of consent. The incident occurred in Schenectady County in Princetown in August. According to New York State Police Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, on Sept. 11, troopers arrested Albany County resident Jack Jimenez, age 19, of Glenmont, a hamlet in the town of Bethlehem, for rape. 36-Year-Old Walking On Thruway Struck, Killed In Capital Region Authorities have identified a man who was struck and killed while walking on a major highway in the region. The Albany County incident happened at around 2 a.m. Sunday, June 30, on I-87 in Bethlehem. New York State Police said 36-year-old James Gibson Jr., of West Coxsackie, was walking in the right southbound lane near Exit 23 when he was struck by a car. Gibson died from his injuries at the scene. The driver immediately stopped and called 911, and is fully cooperating with the investigation, police said. In Albany County, Bethlehem Police arrested Saratoga County resident Matthew Monthie, age 28, of Clifton Park on Friday, June 7, on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and related charges in the death of Shawna Marzahl.
