Police apprehended the man in connection to four larcenies that occurred on September 10, in the village Garden City. According to detectives, Old Westbury Police observed a 2023 Toyota Prius traveling northbound on Red Ground Road with a cracked windshield. Mark Small, age 57, of Elmont, was found guilty of murder and related charges in Nassau County Court on Thursday, Sept. 26, in the death of 39-year-old Marivel Estevez. Prosecutors said Small entered Estevez’s penthouse apartment at the Allure Mineola apartment complex on Old Country Road sometime overnight on July 28, 2022. The Village of Rockville Centre Police Department was certified by KultureCity, a nonprofit organization that typically trains venue staff to accommodate people with sensory needs, like those with autism.
