Holiday Heart: Church In Region To Host Christmas Dinner For Homeless, Lonely Christmas is usually a season of joy and family gatherings. But for the homeless or lonely, it can be challenging to cope. To help, the First Baptist Church of Spring Valley will serve Christmas dinner and distribute coats and food packages to the homeless, indigent, and lonely on Christmas Day. Beloved Firefighter Dies After Over 25 Years Of Service In Region A Hudson Valley fire department is mourning the loss of one of its active members who served his community for more than a quarter of a century.  The death of Robert "Link" Linkenhoker was announced by Putnam County's Brewster Fire Department on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
