Kathy Hochul announced that extra patrols will be on the lookout for drunk and drugged drivers over the Fourth of July weekend. Hudson Valley Duo Charged With Felony DWI In Unrelated Incidents Two men from the region were nabbed for alleged felony DWI in two separate incidents. Dutchess County residents Christopher J. Duquette, age 66, of Hyde Park, and Nelson Acevedo, age 53, of Beekman, were both charged on Sunday, June 30, said Capt. John Watterson with the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. Man Arrested, Issued Over 60 Tickets After Leading Officers On Pursuit In Hudson Valley: Police A 28-year-old man was hit with criminal charges and more than 60 traffic tickets after leading authorities on a pursuit through a Hudson Valley shopping center and several neighborhoods, police said. The arrest resulted from an incident in Putnam County on Saturday, May 11 around 10 p.m., when a Carmel Police officer saw a motorcycle with a blocked license plate near the Mahopac Village Center and tried pulling it over, according to the department.
