Death Of 3-Year-Old At Home In Region Under Investigation Authorities are investigating the death of a 3-year-old child at a Capital Region home. Emergency crews in Saratoga County were called to a Corinth residence on Main Street for a child who was struggling to breathe at around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19. The child was transported to Saratoga Hospital where they were pronounced dead, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies did not speculate on a cause of death. An official cause will be determined by the Saratoga County Coroner's office. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

Woman, 25, Killed After Car Rolls Over Several Times On NY Thruway This story has been updated. A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash after her car rolled multiple times on the Adirondack Northway.  The collision occurred in Saratoga County around 4:50 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1, on the Northway north of the Exit 14 off-ramp in Saratoga Springs. According to New York State Police Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, the crash caused one of the vehicles to overturn and killed the driver, identified as Makenzie T. Minkler, age 25, of Rensselaer.
