Store In Kingston Permanently Closes After 37-Year Run After 37 years of business in the region, a popular discount store has decided to close its doors permanently. Located in Ulster County, the Kingston Just-A-Buck and Beyond store at 264 Plaza Road in Kingston Plaza said it has decided to close this location.  "We are so grateful for the wonderful staff and customers we have met and shared the last 37 years with," store officials said. ShopRite In Hudson Valley To Close After over 30 years in business, a popular ShopRite store in the region will close this summer. The 55,500-square-foot store, located in Ulster County in Ellenville, at 1 ShopRite Boulevard off Route 209, was opened in 1993 by Wakefern Food Corporation in New Jersey. According to Karen O'Shea, the corporation's spokeswoman, the store did not renew its lease and will close on Saturday, Aug. 31.
