Crash Update: 1 Critical, 1 Stable Following 2-Vehicle Drunk Driving Accident In Region Two victims of an alleged drunk driving crash who were severely wounded remain in the hospital. The collision occurred in Greene County on Route 23 in Catskill at about 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10. According to Greene County Sheriff's Office Capt. The Ohio-based fast-food chain has its sights set on Greene County, where it will debut a new location in the village of Catskill, according to Village of Catskill Planning Board records. Plans call for the new restaurant to take over the former Pizza Hut building, located at 75 Maple Avenue. It was not immediately clear when the new Catskill location will open. The Greene County wreck happened just before 5 p.m. Saturday, July 20, on Route 23 in the town of Windham. Sheriff’s officials said a Buick SUV was heading eastbound on State Route 23 when it collided with a westbound Chevrolet pickup truck near the intersection of Cross Road. A Greene County fisherman found himself in handcuffs after he allegedly attempted to flee from police in a rideshare vehicle. The incident happened Tuesday, July 2, along Catskill Creek in the town of Durham.  Officers with the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) spotted a man and woman fishing and asked for their fishing licenses. According to the agency, the man did not have an ID and gave them the name and birthdate of someone else with an active fishing license.  A check of his motorcycle’s …

Alert Issued For 16-Year-Old Capital Region Girl Missing 3 Days Police are asking for help in locating a 16-year-old girl from the region who has been missing for several days. Greene County resident DeAnna Cilento was last seen at a home in Prattsville on Sunday, June 30, according to sheriff’s officials. Investigators said Cilento may have traveled to Delaware County or Brooklyn. She is 5-foot-10 and around 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
