Shooting Suspect On Run In Hudson Valley Police in the Hudson Valley are investigating a shooting that left a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg that required a tourniquet for bleeding. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at 11:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, on Talmadge Street in the city of Poughkeepsie. Arriving officers found the 40-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. Officers immediately placed a tourniquet on his leg, and he was transported to a hospital in the area for treatment, the City of Poughkeepsie Police said. Assailant Flees Scene After Woman Stabbed In Hudson Valley A Hudson Valley woman was stabbed during a fight between two groups of people on a city street.  The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, on Montgomery Street in the city of Poughkeepsie. According to Det. Lt. Sean McCarthy of the city of Poughkeepsie Police, Donyae Paris Andrews, age 24, of Poughkeepsie, received non-life-threatening injuries to her arm during the attack. Hudson Valley Man Nabbed For String Of Burglaries, Police Say A Hudson Valley man was nabbed for allegedly committing a string of commercial burglaries following an investigation.  Dutchess County resident Eric Mangano, age 53, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by the city of Poughkeepsie police on Tuesday, July 16. According to Lt. Sean McCarthy of the Poughkeepsie Police, Mangano was the target of an investigation for a series of burglaries throughout the city.
