Sexual Assault At Park In Region Under Investigation Police in the region are investigating a reported sexual assault that occurred at a popular park. The incident occurred in Albany at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, in the area of Six Mile Park, located at 135 Fuller Road. According to Albany Police, when officers arrived at the park, they learned that the victim, a woman, was inside a vehicle at the time of the assault.  Police said the woman was able to free herself from the vehicle and seek help. The attack happened in Albany, near the intersection of Quail and West streets, shortly after 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3. Albany Police said officers found a 22-year-old man who had been stabbed in his back. The victim was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
