Police arrested a pair who allegedly were responsible for injuring a woman during a burglary. The Franklin Square incident occurred on Sunday, June 16, Nassau County Police said. Police are asking for help in identifying a commercial burglary suspect who helped himself to thousands of dollars from a pair of Long Island businesses. Suffolk County Police said the break-ins occurred at around 5:30 a.m. Thursday, May 2, in Lindenhurst, at two businesses on Wellwood Avenue. Surveillance footage showed the suspect, clad in all black clothing and a black face mask, forcibly entering Paris 1 Nail Salon through a rear door. Police on Long Island are asking the public for help identifying a man who burglarized two businesses last month. The incidents occurred in Lindenhurst on Thursday, May 2, at the Paris 1 Nail Salon and Vicky’s Casa del Sabor on Wellwood Avenue. Woman Assaulted In Her Sleep At Long Island Home, Police Say
Police are searching for an alleged burglar who struck a 64-year-old woman in the face as she slept. The incident occurred in Levittown on Sunday, June 9. At about 2:30 a.m., the person broke into the victim’s home and hit her in the face with an unknown object, waking her up, Nassau County Police said. A suspect is at large after a Memorial Day burglary at a Long Island deli. It happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday, May 27 in Wading River. Two Long Island men were arrested after police allegedly discovered they were swiping copper wire from their employer. Nassau County Police Department received notification of the theft from a company in Jericho between Wednesday, May 15, and Thursday, May 16. The report indicated that a burglar had stolen copper wire from Getty Terminal Corp, located at 125 Jericho Turnpike.
