Woman Identified After Deadly Fall Under Moving Bus In NY: Police (Updated) A 66-year-old woman has been identified after she was killed apparently tripping and falling beneath a moving bus in Albany on Friday, Aug. 7. Cynthia M. Riggins, of Albany, was identified Monday, Aug. 10 as the victim, the Albany Police Department said. The crash happened near New Scotland Avenue and Morris Street around 3:15 p.m., according to Albany police. Officers responding to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a Capital District Transportation Authority bus found the woman seriously injured in the roadway, police said. Louisville Ladder recalled about 1.77 million of its Louisville, Featherlite, Lite and Century attic stairway ladders, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday, Aug. 6. Another 13,054 ladders were sold in Canada. The CPSC said the bolts can break while the ladders are in use. Izzo, 75, of Stony Brook, was found by a family member in the pool at his Malverne Lane home at approximately 7:45 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
