Suffolk County Company Admits Knowingly Exposing Employees To Hazardous Materials A Long Island thermometer manufacturing company formally confessed to exposing employees to hazardous materials, seriously injuring four people. Robert Peyser, 66, of Bellmore, and his West Babylon-based Kessler Thermometer Corp. pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment in Suffolk County Court on Friday, Dec. 13.
