20-Year-Old Seriously Injured After Crashing Into Cars, Tree On Long Island A motorist was airlifted to the hospital after slamming into several cars and a tree on a Long Island roadway. The crash occurred at 4:30 pm on Thursday, Oct. 17, in Elmont. A 20-year-old driver of a 1999 red Honda struck two parked cars and a tree on Carnegie Avenue., causing the vehicle to overturn.  The man suffered multiple trauma injuries and was transported by Nassau County Helicopter 6 to a local area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.  Check back to Daily Voice for updates.
