Much-Needed Rainfall Headed To Region Amid Ongoing High Wildfire Risk: Here's Timing
As the risk for brush fires remains high throughout the region, a rare round of precipitation could help improve conditions. Winter 2024-25 Forecast Released By NOAA National Weather Service
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Climate Prediction Center has just released its outlook for the winter of 2024-25. A“slowly-developing” La Niña is expected to shape weather throughout the country from December through February, NOAA says. Winter Outlook Predictions Released: Here's What Forecasters Expect
With the Labor Day weekend marking the unofficial end of summer, forecasters are starting to look ahead and predict what's in store for the winter of 2025. The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) says heavy precipitation is expected in the areas shown in the darkest shade of green in the first image above.
