14-Year-Old Missing Nearly 2 Weeks Among Long Island Teens Located Safe A 14-year-old boy gone for nearly two weeks was among three Long Island teenagers who were found safe after relatives reported them missing. Edwin Palacios Umana, age 14, had last been seen at his Lakeview residence on Wadleigh Avenue at around 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5. On Sunday, Aug. 18, Nassau County Police said Umana was located. No other details were given. 14-Year-Old Goes Missing From High School On Long Island Police are asking for the community’s help in locating a missing teenager from Long Island. Autumn McDegganlee, age 14, was last seen leaving Freeport High School at around noon on Tuesday, Aug. 13, according to Nassau County Police. McDegganlee is 5-foot-2 and 95 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to contact Nassau County Police at 516-573-7347 or call 911.
