Queens Women Charged In Massage Parlor Raid: Suffolk Police
Two Queens women were arrested during a raid at a Lindenhurst massage parlor following an investigation sparked by community complaints, Suffolk County Police announced Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Jing Lu, 52, and Jing Qiao, 41, both of Flushing, Queens, were taken into custody at Casual Foot Spa, located at 200 East Montauk Highway, after officers executed the raid at approximately 3:35 p.m., police said.

Kenneth Stewart Charged After Angela Sarant Killed In Crash
A crash claimed the life of a 69-year-old woman in Dix Hills on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 8, Suffolk County police announced.
Angela Sarant, of Dix Hills, was struck while walking on Vanderbilt Parkway at Village Hill Drive at approximately 3:07 p.m., investigators said. She was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver, Kenneth Stewart, 64, of Huntington Station, was behind the wheel of a 2021 Honda Civic traveling westbound when the collision occurred, according to police. He was not injured.

In a groundbreaking trial, a court-certified support dog named Eddie helped a young child testify against former NYPD detective Wilson Frias, leading to his conviction on charges of child sexual abuse in Westchester County.
Frias, 52, of Briarcliff Manor, was sentenced to five years in prison and ten years of post-release supervision after a jury found him guilty of first-degree sexual abuse, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. He will also be required to register as a sex offender.
