Man Allegedly Rams Police Officer With Car Multiple Times During Long Island Arrest During a police investigation, a Long Island man allegedly rammed his vehicle into arresting officers multiple times before fleeing. It happened in Carle Place on Tuesday, May 28. Just before 4:30 p.m., Nassau County Police Bureau of Special Operations (BSO) Officers traveled to the Holiday Inn, located at 369 Old Country Road, to arrest Peter Centeno on an active bench warrant. Event Venue Stabbing: Duo Arrested In Connection With Long Island Incident Two men were nabbed after police said they stabbed each other during a fight at a Long Island event venue. It happened on Monday, May 20 in West Hempstead. At about 12:45 a.m. that morning, two men from Queens — 33-year-old Anthony Grant and 32-year-old Michael Laing — got into a verbal and physical fight at Boom VIP Events, located at 439 Hempstead Avenue, which is across the street from Chestnut Street Elementary School.
