According to Nassau County Police detectives, Seth Newman, age 21, of Great Neck, was driving a black 2021 Dodge Charger in New Hyde Park in the vicinity of Marcus Avenue and New Hyde Park Road at around noontime Sunday, Oct. 27.   He then activated amber flashing lights and a siren and was observed with what appeared to be a black handgun located near his hip, said police. The incident happened in New Hyde Park, at the Touch of Class II salon on Jericho Turnpike, at around 1:15 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27. Nassau County Police said officers arrived to find an unoccupied Acura sedan just outside the building’s front exterior. The impact shattered two large windows and toppled part of a brick wall.
