Cave Rescue: 20-Year-Old Pulled To Safety After 5-Hour Operation In Capital Region A young explorer has some dedicated search and rescue crews to thank for pulling him to safety after he became trapped inside a popular cave in the region. The Albany County incident happened Sunday afternoon, June 30, in the town of New Scotland at the Clarksville Cave. Sheriff Craig Apple said a 20-year-old man entered the cave with a group of friends from Queensbury in Warren County, but when he tried to exit, he became stuck. Update: Fierce Fire Ravages $3M Tenafly Home 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: A fierce fire blew through a $3 million Tenafly home Friday night. Everyone got out OK and no injuries were reported after the fire ignited on the first floor near the back of the Hudson Avenue home off County Road shortly before 8:30 p.m. June 14. It quickly went to three alarms and then, later, a fourth for coverage. Firefighters had the bulk of the blaze knocked down within a half hour, then remained until 11 p.m. or so dousing hot spots.
