Police On The Hunt For Suspects In 2 Home Burglaries In Region Police in the Hudson Valley are hunting for suspects involved in two home burglaries during the early morning hours. Capt Michael Shannon of the Orangetown Police said the break-ins occurred on Friday, Dec. 13, around 4:15 a.m. in Pearl River and Orangeburg. Shannon said the first burglary occurred on Pinto Road in Pearl River. The suspects gained entry through a lower lever window. The suspects, dressed in dark-hooded sweatshirts and ski masks, left the home without taking anything. Drug Dealer From Region Nabbed With 2 Kilos Of Cocaine By Drug Task Force, Police Say An alleged Hudson Valley drug dealer was nabbed with two kilos of cocaine and heroin during a bust by an area Drug Task Force. Rockland County resident Darryl Wright, age 41, of Pearl River, was charged on Thursday, Oct. 24, with criminal possession of a controlled substance, said Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Walsh.  According to Walsh, the bust came following a six-month investigation into narcotics sales in the Town of Orangetown. Drunk Driver Nabbed For Hit-Run Hudson Valley Crash, Police Say A Hudson Valley woman was charged with alleged DWI at more than twice the legal limit when police responded to a hit-and-run crash. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 9:15 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 11, on South Little Tor Road in New City. According to Clarkstown Police, the crash involved a blue Jeep Wrangler that sideswiped another vehicle while turning onto South Little Tor Rd. and continued driving.
