A New York woman admitted to attacking her wife and a friend with a car and a baseball bat before leading state police on high-speed chases with kids in the car, authorities said Friday, March 27.
Juanita Moore, a 25-year-old Schenectady resident, copped to one count of first-degree assault and one count of first-degree attempted assault on Wednesday, March 25, the Schenectady County District Attorney’s office said.

Four people are facing felony drug possession charges after a high-speed police chase in Menands, New York State Police announced on Monday, Aug. 11.
Troopers tried to stop a northbound vehicle on I-787 for a traffic violation at about 12:29 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7, according to police. The driver, Mamadou O. Diallo, 28, of St. Albans, allegedly refused to pull over, sparking a two-mile pursuit before stopping. Diallo was taken into custody at the scene, investigators said.
